More Thoughts From Me: The Return of Snake Eater

I was a huge fan of Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation 2. The second game was my favorite but I did like Snake Eater a lot. So yesterday when a remake was revealed, I was excited but also a little unhappy because I don’t have a PlayStation 5. Then I looked online and it was revealed that the game is also coming to Xbox! I have one of those. I’m very excited for the Snake Eater remake. Let’s talk…

SuperMash Review

SuperMash for the Nintendo Switch lets players mash together two video game genres and to create a randomly generated game. You never know what kind of game you’ll get! Its a unique concept but is SuperMash fun? Let’s find out in this review of SuperMash for the Nintendo Switch! SuperMash isn’t Super Mario Maker 2. Its not even an indie game like the recently released LevelHead. You do not create video games. Instead, you choose two genres, say RPG and…

Thief of Thieves Season One

Robert Kirkman created The Walking Dead but thats not the only comic he has done (though sometimes it feels like it). No, Kirkman has done a lot of cool comics like Invincible  and he wrote Marvel Team-up for awhile. Why am I telling you all this? Because one of Kirkman’s comics is now a video game for the Nintendo Switch. No, not that comic, another comic. Thief of Thieves Season One for the Nintendo Switch is out today. Is it…

More Thoughts From Me #147: Solid Snake Is Dead Again

I love the Metal Gear Solid franchise. My favorite of the games is MGS2, but I do love Twin Snakes, Snake Eater, and MGS4 also. I never thought I’d get to play the fifth game in the series. I didn’t have a PS4 and didn’t think I’d get one. Of course, recently I got one! And the second game I ended getting was…Metal Gear Solid 5! Yep. I finally get to play this game. Its a very good game so…

Hitman 2 Review

Released last week, Hitman 2 continues the legacy of the infamous Agent 47. Developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Hitman 2 is the sixth game in the franchise, not counting the games made for iOS and Android, and the second game in the latest reboot of the series. The Hitman franchise has been riddled with criticism at times for being too stagnant and repetitive while at others for losing sight of the original vision of the games. Many questions have been brought up about how this latest title will respond to ...

Home Sweet Home Review

Home Sweet Home is a first-person indie-horror game inspired by Thai myths and beliefs that was recently released on PS4 and Xbox One from Thai developer Yggdrazil. Yggdrazil is not known for game creation, as it boasts projects in VFX, Animation, Art Design and Online-Editing categories, with very little focus on games. For a company with such a diverse portfolio, it would be an understatement to say I was surprised with the overall quality of Home Sweet Home.

Hitman over Deus Ex? Episode 4 Bangkok Impressions

Although we can all see that Hitman and Deus Ex are two very different experiences, they both share a very common play mechanic – stealth. When playing through both titles in the past week – Deus Ex for review and the latest Hitman episode – I realized that although Deus Ex is packed full of things to do, I would rather play stealth in Hitman. The fundamental difference between environments in both titles is that Deus Ex is built for…
