Over the past year, we've had the great privilege of reviewing a number of toys on the GamesReviews.com, and the reception to these reviews have been pretty good. While we always hope to expand our reviews and articles pages, and even include a new "Toys" page in the near future, we do hope you've been enjoying the reviews as much as we have had fun writing them. Just when you thought the people over at Performance Design Products would run out of ideas and licence deals for Pixel Pals, they slam you with more, increasing the variety of characters already available. This time around, it was a box full of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) figures, all in great detail, and all prime for the taking by my kids. Good thing I ordered high shelves for all these figures, because they would be long gone if my kids could reach them.

Performance Design Products has released a number of headsets over the last few years, and to date, none of their recent products have compared to the outstanding AG 9+ they released a few years ago. That's not to say their other products are bad; far from it, as PDP always releases quality products that customers are bound to love. With my AG 9+ reaching the end of their life cycle - over hundreds of hours of use mind you - it was time to look at something else from PDP. Enter the PDP AG 6 Headset. The Master Chief Pixel Pal from Performance Design Products will be available to preorder soon from Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop / EB Games on 08.08 and when the figure itself launches on 09.12, PDP will have officially made partnership deals with both Nintendo and Microsoft for their Pixel Pal lineup of collectibles. Earlier this year, when we unboxed and reviewed our Nintendo Switch, we also looked at a pile of accessories from Performance Design Products. One of our favourite items - outside the Elite Player Backpack which is phenomenal! - was the Nintendo Switch carrying case, which at the time was themed in multiple ways: The Legend of Zelda, generic Mario, and a charcoal gray, classy looking case. PDP is adding another theme to their lineup of cases: Mario Kart!

For many of you, Danny's name will be familiar as he did a number of indie reviews for us over the past few years. Right around the time of the Nintendo Switch launch, you will remember the reedit post from dBrand claiming that ALL skins put on a Nintendo Switch product would ruin the Switch itself. Through some testing of our own - as well as some very informative videos from Performance Design Product - it was shown that this wasn't the case all the time. PDP prides themselves on producing officially licenced products from gamers around the world, and if this scenario taught me anything, it was that "Officially Licenced" really does matter.

After the very successful launch of the Afterglow PDP Wired Xbox One Controller, Performance Design Products has gone above and beyond by taking that great technology and craftsmanship and masking it in designs and themes that consumers love. Previously, we have seen PDP launch a Mirror's Edge controller that looked great, but they have since partnered with many other companies to launch even more exciting products.
