I’ve never been into the Assassin’s Creed series. I tried. I thought I’d really love the Revolutionary War one and I didn’t. So I had no interest in playing any of the recent ones. When Assassin’s Creed Origins launched last year it became quickly apparent that the major changes to the franchise propelled that release to my favourite Assassin’s Creed game to date, and it was a sentiment shared by many. One year later, and we have been promised another grand adventure, built on similar changes made to Origins. But with only a year between releases, does this release take a step back? Let’s dive in!
