Although originally released in 1988 and 1989, Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and The Girl that Stands Behind have been reworked by developer Mages and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. Both games will be available on the eShop on Friday, May 14th and if you purchase both titles, you will receive a discount. Not familiar with Famicom Detective Club? That doesn't surprise me, as the games never got a western release after launching in Japan. But we have some info to get you started.

Even though Judgment released in June 25th, 2019 on PlayStation 4 I didn’t give it a try. I had a huge backlog of games to play and kept holding it off. Fast forward to April 2021, the game was remastered and released on other platforms. I jumped to play this on Google Stadia, I can’t ignore the convenience Stadia brings for my busy life. I was a fan of the Yakuza series so I knew this game would be a treat as a spin off. The game was developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by none other than Sega a staple in the video game industry.

Darkside Detective was originally released in 2017, however I was only introduced to it a few weeks ago on Google Stadia. How did I miss out on such a great game? It completely flew under my radar. After completing all the cases I was ready for more Detective work, and thankfully, A Fumble in the Dark came out. I enjoyed Darkside detective for its great writing, having to use my brain thinking about clues, and the amusing characters we met along the way.
