microsoft_aufmacher_0

Microsoft’s E3 press conference opened up with some brand new gameplay footage from Halo 5: Guardians’ campaign.

Showing the world Spartan Locke and his crew, which included ODST Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck, played by Nathan Fillion and two other Spartan allies.

Halo 5 appears to have an even bigger focus on the cinematic moments, with the character falling off a ledge, and being grabbed by an enemy without triggering a cut-scene that we normally would see in the past games of the franchise.

The multiplayer mode was also shown today, emphasizing it’s extremely large scale. The new mode called Warzone shows characters using a variety of air and land crafts to destroy each other.

Halo 5: Guardians is out exclusively for Xbox One on October 27, 2015.

You can watch the new Halo 5: Guardians gameplay video below which was shown earlier today at E3.
