Mario Party 10 Event

I got some hands on time with Mario Party 10 at a Nintendo of Canada hosted event in Toronto, Canada. Although I’ve played the game before, a lot more was open to me within the game and I had more time to enjoy it.

While not a whole lot has changed in the mechanics of the game, outside of Bowser Party of course, the fun factor is still there. I played with my wife and son, and we had a great time moving around the maps, collecting stars, and avoiding Bowser.

Bowser Party is especially fun, although I cannot help but wonder how weighted it is in Bowser’s favor. It is, however, another excellent use of the GamePad; outside of Off TV Play, there has not been much use for the pad within games.

The only mode I did not try was amiibo party, but that, and so much more, will be covered in our full review, which should go live early next week.

If playing games with friends is something you enjoy, then don’t wait! Pick up Mario Party 10 and new amiibo tomorrow!

More details will follow after today’s event concludes.
