Titanfall Beta Sign-Ups live

titanfall 11

You can now sign up to the Titanfall beta, EA have announced. If you go take a look at the official Titanfall website, you’ll be lead through a process of getting onto a list for the beta. You can currently sign-up for the Xbox One or PC versions of the game. Both, unsurprisingly, require you to have an Origin account.

Asking to join the beta no way guarantees that you’ll be accepted, although you won’t have to wait too long until you get confirmation. As explained on the website:

Completing this registration does not guarantee access into the Titanfall Beta as seats are limited. If you have been selected you will be emailed directly by EA with instructions on how to access the game no later than 11:59 PM PST on Feb 17th.

Alongside the beta announcement, EA also released a brand new trailer. If you’ve yet to get excited about Titanfall, this trailer shows off some of the silky-smooth gameplay from former Infinity Ward devs Respawn, alongside some of the mech combat that’s bound to set it apart from the competition.

EA claim that the Titanfall beta isn’t final code, although it’s a little late to be saying things like that. There’s no way that major changes are going to be made this close to actual release and those that are fixed will likely be done so in a massive day one patch. Still, it’s a nice way to demo the game. Just a shame there wasn’t a more definite way of accessing it.
