New Nintendo Selects Arrive March 11th for 29.99

Nintendoeshop

Nintendo has extended it’s Nintendo Selects program to include Wii U and 3DS titles, and they will begin hitting stores and the eShop on March 11th. If you are in the market for any of these titles, your best bet is to wait a few weeks. Nintendo is not known for discounting their titles, and don’t expect to find any of there big sellers – Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc. – on this list anytime soon, if ever. However, for the time being, those that haven’t played these fantastic titles will now be able to, at a much lower price.

From Nintendo:

Wii U games like Super Mario 3D World, an imaginative four-player adventure with Mario and friends that received numerous Game of the Year awards and nominations when it first launched in 2013, join Nintendo 3DS standouts such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, one of the most critically acclaimed Nintendo 3DS games of all time.

More titles than just these will be added as well, including Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, NEW Remix Pack, Yoshi’s New Island, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and Mario Party: Island Tour. The greatest addition might be Pikmin 3. With retail copies of the game going for outrageous amounts of money, hopefully Nintendo will make sure to stock retail with this amazing title.

Whether you just picked up a new Wii U or Nintendo 3DS system over the holiday season or want to expand your ever-growing game collection, Nintendo Selects are a great, affordable option,” said Pierre-Paul Trepanier, Nintendo of Canada’s General Manager and Senior Director. “Not only are these games easier than ever to enjoy, but they also represent some of our highest-quality offerings in recent memory.
