Rockstar have announced that they’ll be delaying the release of Grand Theft Auto V on PC.

This comes only days after the publisher said that it “hadn’t yet” announced delays on the title.

PC gamers will now have to wait until March 24 for the crime epic. Grand Theft Auto V’s release date was originally late 2014, then late January and now sits a few months down the line, hopefully where it’ll stay.

Reaction to the delay has been mixed, with console gamers joking at the “master race’s” expense, although no information was given as to why it has been delayed.

In a statement announcing the delay, Rockstar said they never choose to move a game’s release date lightly.

From Rockstar Newswire:

Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March.

The PC version of the game will include a video editing suite, from which fans will be able to upload stunts, action and comic mishaps to Rockstar’s site and to YouTube.

Rockstar also announced surprisingly low minimum specs for the title, although that 65GB download may make those in slow internet zones cringe.
