Anodyne Review

I took a look at Anodyne earlier in the week and liked it. Now its time to review the game. Is Anodyne an adventure worth taking or should you skip this one? Anodyne is an action/adventure rpg that will remind you of the Legend of Zelda and its humor will remind you of Earthbound. However, Anodyne does have its own unique (dark) story, characters, enemies, and areas to explore. Anodyne’s retro style is very charming and its gameplay is solid.…

What do you get when you combine Zelda and Earthbound? If you said Rainbite’s Reverie, then you’re right. But if you also said Anodyne from publisher Noooo you’d be right too. While Anodyne has a slightly darker look to it then Earthbound or Zelda, it shares much in common with both. Anodyne is coming to the Nintendo Switch this Thursday. Daggerhood Preview

Daggerhood is the latest game that Ratalaika Games are bringing to the Switch. Its an action/platformer and its pretty hard. I have been playing it for review and I have some thoughts on it. Daggerhood is an insanely hard game. In Daggerhood, you play a thief who is out to steal all of the king’s gold. He only has a dagger to get him through all of the insane traps and enemies that he’ll find on his journey. Fortunately, the…

More Thoughts From Me #159: The Switch Finds Its (War) Groove

I don’t like Advance Wars. I’ve tried to like the series, but its just never hooked me. But when I saw WarGroove for the Nintendo Switch for the first time, I thought it looked cool. Yes, some of it looks inspired by Advance Wars, but the fantasy setting appealed to me more than Advance Wars military setting. So I was interested in the game and I become more interested as I saw further footage. So yes, I bought WarGroove for…

We originally reviewed >observer_ on the Xbox One in August of 2017, and gave the game a 9.0/10! The game is now available on the Nintendo Switch, and we wanted to see how it would perform.
