Is this a good game? Here’s my review of Last Day…

Detective Pikachu Review

Even if you are not a long time fan of the Pokémon franchise, there is one thing you probably do know: Pokémon don’t talk to humans and humans don’t talk to Pokémon. Sure, based on emotions of a Pokémon - or even their actions - a good trainer can determine what a Pokémon is thinking or feeling; but to actually talk to one? That is basically unheard of. So when we learned about the popular Japanese Detective Pikachu and that it was going to be brought over to the West, I was incredibly skeptical. I wasn’t onboard with talking Pikachu. So how did this colour ...

Nindies Showcase 3.20.18

Nintendo of America had an Indie (Nindie) showcase today. You can check that video out below and then please come back for my impressions of it. Today’s Nindie Showcase was not very good. There were no major surprises like Fornite or even a release date for Wargroove. None of the previously mentioned indie games from other showcases were mentioned at all. The video was also very short. Now, I’m not saying that there were no interesting games at all in…

The following game is not 36 Fragments of Midnight, even though it does look like that game. Instead, Midnight Deluxe is like a game of golf. You must hit an object into a hole. Sounds simple right? Well, this game gets harder as you go. Is Midnight Deluxe a good game or not? Read my review to find out! Midnight Deluxe has no story or setup. Instead, the player is thrown into a series of environments where they play an…

Showndown With the Scribblenauts

The Scribblenauts franchise has never been super popular but it has always  been unique and interesting. One of my favorites was the Scribblenauts DC Universe game for the Wii U. Things haven’t looked great for the franchise and I doubted we see another game. And so it was a surprise when Scriblenauts Showdown was announced for the Nintendo Switch. The game is out now and I received a review copy of the game! My review isn’t ready yet, but I…
