More Thoughts From Me Special Edition: Wow! What A Great Direct!

Today, Nintendo had an all-new Direct. And it…was AMAZING. I talk about what I liked so much about today’s Nintendo Direct below. Today was Nintendo Direct Day. I was prepared for disappointment. As it turned out…I was not disappointed (for the most part). Nintendo delivered the best Direct is a long time in my opinion. What was so great about it? Well, first of all: Nintendo announced not one but TWO additional videos to be premiere in October: The final…

Staxel a Good Mashup on Nintendo Switch?

What can we say about Staxel. It seems to want to be Minecraft, but it isn't Minecraft. And it seems it wants to be Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, but it isn't Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley. So what is it? It's a mashup of some of my favourite genres - building and farming - that has me more excited than I've been in recent memory for an indie title! While there are hiccups along the way, there is so much that keeps me going!

N64 Games We Want from Switch Online

Rumour has it that Switch Online is getting an upgrade. As part of that upgrade you’ll be able to play N64 games. It should’ve been here long before, but now it could happen we won’t quibble… The Nintendo 64 was an incredible console. As someone who has played a lot of retro games lately, I’m constantly stagged by just how much nicer looking the N64 games are today than their PlayStation counterparts. Ocarina of Time feels much more modern than…

Tails of Iron Review

Tails of Iron isn't Animal Crossing. It isn't a cute, cozy experience about talking rats. Instead, it's a dark, grim fairy tale with "talking" rats. While the premise of building a game around rats might just conjure up thoughts of the plague, we can assure you it's much more than that. These aren't gross vile rats, but loveable, dedicated, and strong creatures. But, is it a good game? Here is our review of Tails of Iron! Plus, check out a first look video from Adam Roffel below.
