Konami have this morning announced the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection, which contains Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Mirror of Fate HD. It also contains an exclusive demo for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, which comes out next February.

Although Bioshock Infinite will be built upon with DLC, the longterm future of the franchise is a little less certain Ken Levine has revealed. While Infinite received incredibly positive reviews, it took a long time to make and cost an awful lot of money and it may not have been enough to definitely secure new games, and almost certainly not in the foreseeable future.

If you have any interest in Bioshock Infinite and its place in the Bioshock canon, you've probably heard about the Songbird sound effect. Earlier this week, Kotaku run a story about how a comedian at the Xbox One presentation at Eurogamer humiliated a transgender journalist. Laura Kate Dale, a transgender woman, claimed to have been called "he," "it," and "a thing," by Fraser Millward as he hosted an Xbox One event last weekend. In an official statement issued by both of them earlier today, this was shown to be untrue. Instead, it's a case of them misunderstanding one another and overreacting.

Capcom have announced that they'll be making redundant more than half of their EU-based staff. This follows under performance for many of the last released games, including Resident Evil 6, DMC: Devil May Cry and Lost Planet 3.

If you've been "waaaaaiting" for news of a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog series, that wait will soon be over. SEGA have today announced a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog TV series for Cartoon Network entitled Sonic Boom. The first episode will air in Autumn 2014, and a global roll-out will happen from there.
