New Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controllers Available from PDP Gaming

Our friends at PDP Gaming have always been good to us, and that includes sending over three brand new Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controllers. These controllers build on the already impressive line of Faceoff Deluxe+ controllers that PDP offers, but instead of going with the outstanding colour options, we are getting character specific designs.

The three new designs feature Tom Nook on an Animal Crossing backdrop, Mario on a red and blue backdrop, and Link one a brown and gold backdrop. Each looks incredibly unique and for folks that love to collect controllers, all three are a necessary add! But how a controller looks is only important if you never plan to use it. We do, and likely so do you!

From a build quality persepctive, these controllers form PDP are just as good as the official wireless Pro Controller form Nintendo. I never wonder if these can withstand abuse from my kids because I’ve never had a PDP controller fail on me. Whether it’s Cheetos dust covered fingers, drops of pop and juice, or whatever else my kids can manage to get all over them, they continue to work well. In my house they’ve been thrown around, stepped on, kicked, dropped…you name it, my kids have managed to do it. And yet, they are all working perfectly, and that is saying something.

But these controllers go a step above other companies products in three unique ways. First, this controller features programable back trigger buttons, and although I rarely use them, they are a amazing for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! Another awesome feature is the on-board volume controls. Should you hook up a headset to the 3.5mm audio jack – and we recommend the PDP headsets – you can use the audio button and the d-Pad to raise, lower, and mute the volume all together. Pretty good, in our opinion.

The final feature is that, like all Faceoff controllers, the front plate and joysticks can be taken off and replaced. The package even comes with one additional, taller joystick that many players like to utilize on the left side of hte controller. While it’s not my particular cup of tea, it’s great to see PDP taking this into consideration and including one in the box. And should you wish to swap out the entire faceplate, you can by using Faceoff Mod Kits!

If you are looking for something new and durable, you cannot go wrong with the wired Faceoff controllers from PDP. With a 10ft cable, it’s likely something that will work in most gaming spaces. We highly recommend. You can find more over on the PDP website!
