When Animal Crossing New Leaf receives its update this Fall, one of the new features that will be added is an amiibo camera. This new feature will let you scan Animal Crossing amiibo cards or figures and then the animal(s) will appear in reality via the 3DS camera. Basically, this new feature uses AR to put your favorite animal in your surroundings and then you can take pictures of them! The 3DS already has an AR app separate of New Leaf that will let you put Mii’s in real backdrops. Now this feature is coming to New Leaf! Pretty cool right?!
