Sports Betting: Computer Vs Mobile

Twenty years ago, the idea of sports gambling on a computer or even a phone was so insanely foreign to many people that you’d have been laughed out of the conversation.

Today it’s the reality for the majority of gamblers. Everything from football to horse racing can be sorted without even leaving the house.

With so many options to pick from, you’re left trying to work out the best way to gamble. When it comes to sports betting, there is no easy answer.

Computer Vs Mobile

So you’ve decided you want to get into sports gambling. You’ve done the research – you’ve checked for things like Betfair sign-up offers so you know you’re getting a good deal. And you sit down to make your first bet…

But where do you sit? Everybody has a computer or laptop, and there are even more phones available. But are there any benefits to one or the other?

There’s a couple of obvious ones. Computers have bigger screens, can allow for more easily accessible tabs, and so therefore you can be more organized and more comfortable.

This could be huge, depending on how much time and effort you want to put into your gambling. Being able to have a spreadsheet ready to go at the click of a button can be very important. If you’re spending hours doing it, you don’t want to strain your eyes on a tiny screen.

Computers are faster, and better structured towards multitasking. But these benefits largely depend on how you gamble. If you won’t use any of these features, your decision of where to play will be a no-brainier.

Mobile Sports Gambling

Mobile gambling has really taken off in recent years. While it might not have the organizational power of a computer, the humble mobile phone is quick, convenient and ever-ready.

It means you can get sports gambling to come to you. No need to sit in an uncomfortable chair for hours on end if you can just curl up on the sofa while placing your bets.

It also means you can enjoy the pastime while you’re out and about. You don’t even need to be stuck in your house.

And that’s before you take into account dedicated apps, which can sometimes feel more streamlined compared to a normal website.

Conclusion

There are advantages and disadvantages to sports gambling on PC or mobile. Ultimately it will come down to your circumstances and how you best enjoy gambling.

Gambling is supposed to be fun, so choose the method that suits you the best.
