Resident Evil 9 Requiem Announced For 2026
Summer Game Fest seemed like it wasn’t going to have any major third party reveals. And then, at the very end, Resident Evil 9 was revealed. Check out the trailer for it and our thoughts on the reveal and the game.
Resident Evil 9 Requiem will be coming out on February 27, 2026.
The game was the final announcement for Summer Game Fest tonight. There was big fake out saying they had no news for the game earlier and then right at the end, they pulled the rug out from under us. I have to admit they fooled me because I was a bit like “Why bother?!” with the non-announcement. I’m sorry Capcom! I was really fooled.
The trailer looked very creepy and cool. I haven’t played Resident Evil 8, so I don’t know any of these characters but I thought the game looked good. It was a really shocking final announcement for Summer Game Fest. WOW. Just WOW. Well done everyone involved in this reveal.
