Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 Announced

I loved Lego Marvel Superheroes for the Wii U. The game had tons of Marvel heroes: everyone from Spider-man to the X-men to the Fantastic Four. Of course, the game couldn’t cover ALL of the Marvel heroes. The Guardians of the Galaxy only got a cameo in the game and other characters were missing too. sigh. If only there was a sequel to this game coming out soon. Wait a second…what’s this?! Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 was announced today! We have the details below, a teaser trailer (Baby Groot!), and my thoughts on the game.

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 will be coming on November 14th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version is only listed for holiday 2017 so far.

Here is a press release for the game via Go Nintendo:

Packed with entertaining LEGO humor for fans of all ages, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 features a four player multiplayer mode, allowing friends and family to play competitively or cooperatively as a team.”

Here’s a teaser trailer for the game:

I am so very excited about this game! Kang the Conqueror as the villain?! Time travel?! Spider-man 2099, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Cowboy Captain America, Thor, Hulk, etc! This game is going to be even better than the first one. Cosmic Marvel, plus time travel, plus Legos is a recipe for a fantastic game.

I can’t wait to see the full trailer for this game next week! We’ll definitely be posting it to as soon as possible too.

Here’s one final thing to hold you over till then….Nintendo Switch Box Art!
