More Thoughts From Me: Tears of the Kingdom Looks Amazing

Yesterday, we got previews of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom from various people who got hands-on demo time with the game. I was already excited for this game, but what I saw and read from these previews ratcheted up my expectations. Tears of the Kingdom looks amazing! I want to talk about some of what was shown. Spoiler warning here just in case! Oh and a video from IGN is included below.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looks amazing!

The new preview footage we saw of the game yesterday was fantastic. First of all, the graphics are just as stunning as Breath of the Wild…if not more. The new sky islands look really cool!

And then we saw lots of new stuff. For instance, there will be giant capsule machines where you can get various things that’ll help you on your journey! One of those is a portable cooking pot, but there looks to be other cool things that you can use to build stuff too. Speaking of building, we saw some neat things be building in the previews. One player created a flying vehicle that had rockets strapped to it and it went really fast for awhile. It looks like you can create all kinds of things in this game.

The previews also showed us that there will be recipe cards for cooking now too. That’ll come in handy! There’s also a very nice looking new ability wheel.

Fuse was shown off again and the possibilities there are just jaw dropping. I loved that moment in one of the previews when a player released they could fuse a the giant spiked ball to their weapon. Instant mace! So awesome.

Tears of the Kingdom is going to be a really great game. It looks like its going to take everything that was excellent about Breath of the Wild and add even more coolness. Best of all though, we don’t have much longer to wait until this game is out! Just a couple of weeks now!

Are you ready for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!?

More Thoughts From Me is an opinion column. The thoughts expressed here are mine and mine alone. I’m so ready!
