More Thoughts From Me #268: 99 Pac-mans Walk Into A Room

Pac-man 99 is available for Nintendo Switch Online owners and I’ve been a playing it a little. What do I think? Do you have 99 hours? Kidding! I do have some thoughts though.

When Pac-man 99 was surprise announced…I was delighted. Seriously. C’mon. Its frelling Pac-man! And in a game where you are trying to survive as long as you can in a game of Pac-man against other players. Just a really cool idea.

Pac-man 99 is another game that you can get for free if you are a Nintendo Switch Online member. Unlike Mario 35, this does not seem like a limited release. Its more like Tetris 99 (which I also love). I have to admit as much as I like Mario…Mario 35 was just okay. I don’t miss it.

Meanwhile Pac-man 99 is a lot of fun. The game starts out very normal and slow like Pac-man games do. Then its get faster and more chaotic. You have to keep getting those pelts and eating those ghosts. You have to avoid all the crazy shadow Pac-man that pop up and keep on going.

I haven’t gotten first place yet. I’m not sure if I ever will. But I keep ranking up and sometimes I do survive a little longer than other times. Pac-man 99 is a fun game to just pick and play whenever I have a little time. Its the same thing with Tetris 99.

There is off-line DLC for Pac-man 99 and I’d like to get it sooner or later. I have the DLC for Tetris 99 and I love it. I’m sure I’d have a lot of fun with the Pac-man 99 DLC.
