LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Developer Diary (Video)
Video game website IGN had what they call IGN Fest today. During IGN Fest, they showed off footage of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and had the developers talk about the game. You can check that video out below, along with my thoughts on the game!
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is coming out on April 5th, 2022. IGN Fest showed off footage and had the developer’s talk about the game. And…WOW! The Skywalker Saga looks fantastic!
This new Lego Star Wars game is epic in scope: it covers all nine Star Wars movies from the prequels to the original trilogy to the sequels. It also features a ton of characters and lots of DLC, including The Mandalorian! I love that show. So can’t wait to see what characters will appear in that DLC.
Another thing thats pretty amazing about this new Lego Star Wars is the number of vehicles (and ridable creatures) that the players will have access too. Of course, you control the Millenium Falcon and X-wings and such but there are also creatures to ride and land vehicles to maneuver.
The game will also let you use the force, use blasters, lightsabers and more. The battle system looks better than it ever has, with a closer behind the shoulder’s take on combat. The environments are huge too. You’ll be exploring massive open areas. There are 20-some Star Wars planets to visit, plus outer space sequences too. Whew. I am so excited for this game!
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could very well be the best LEGO game yet. We’ll find out for sure on April 5! Are you looking forward to this game?!
