DEFENDERS OF THE TRIFORCE EXPERIENCE COMING TO CANADA

The Defenders of the Triforce experience, a unique real life escape room event, was announced last year. Nintendo will be attempting to bring the Legend of Zelda to real life for fans across eight U.S. cities. What about Canada though? Will Canadian fans be able to visit the land of Hyrule too? The answer is yes.

The Defenders of the Triforce experience was announced in November of 2016. What is the experience? Here is how Nintendo describes it via a recent press release:

The experience will let guests interact with classic items and characters seen in The Legend of Zelda series like the Goron, Zora and Kokiri tribes. Discovered items can be used to solve puzzles and move forward into other areas, just like in The Legend of Zelda games.”

Nintendo is working with “SCRAP, the renowned designers of many popular escape room experiences, to create a unique multi-city Puzzle Tour inspired by The Legend of Zelda series.”

The experience will be available in “eight U.S. cities” and is now adding “three Canadian city stops in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.” Defenders of the Triforce will start in San Francisco today (January 31st).

If you are not anywhere near the eight U.S. cities or the three Canadian stops, you can get a look at the experience this Friday via Nintendo’s youtube show Nintendo Minute.
