Ark is the Dino Game We Wanted

maxresdefault

So yes, the rumors are definitely true. ARK: Survival Evolved is the dinosaur game that we have always wanted. Sure, there have been a handful of good dino games in the past…ok may be one or two, but soon players on Xbox One will get a massive, exciting, dinosaur adventure. Whether it’s simply being awestruck by the views throughout the world, or actually engaging in the many activities available, there will be something for everyone in this pre-release title.

Grab it while its cheap. For a mere 34.99, players can experience the world of ARK right now, ahead of the official launch – and likely 79.99 price point in Canada – and despite the game being in early access, it really is fairly polished. Of course there are a number of things that will inevitably require some work, the overall experience is enjoyable, and frankly, challenging.

It is a survival game, so surviving is the main goal. Whether you play alone, with a few friends, or online in Player versus Player / Player versus Environment, the learning curve will be very steep, and having a helpful guide or wiki nearby is almost a must. If you die a few dozen times in the first few hours, do not quit. That is par for the course, at least if you are the adventurous type.

Call this article an introduction to further coverage of ARK here on Games Reviews. We have so much to write about, and tons of videos to share, so stay tuned!
