Crysis 3 Coming Soon

The long anticipated sequel to “Crysis 2” will finally be released for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on February 19th, 2013. The sequel, “Crysis 3” will allow players to explore the Seven Wonders of the New York City Liberty Dome. The main plot involves the character Prophet as he works to complete his revenge against the corrupt C.E.L.L. Corporation.

Alpha versions of “Crisis 3”, which includes two maps, became available last November through Origin, with a beta version available January 29th, 2013 for download. The final version will be distributed by Electronic Arts this February and run on CryEngine 3.

While PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users will easily enjoy the high quality graphics of the game, PC users will need advanced systems in order to fully enjoy the game. Only DirectX 11 or higher will support the design. Unlike “Crysis 2,” sacrifices to the design were not made to accommodate older systems. This decision was made after the criticisms from PC gamers in regards to the previous release’s limitations.

The “Crysis 3” release is expected to be very popular and live up to the standards of the series and then some. Several different aspects and designs are currently being added to the game in anticipation of the February 19th release.
