I played a demo of Worcle Worlds awhile back. I thought it was very good then and couldn’t wait until it came out. And now here it is! Is Worcle Worlds for 3DS as good as its demo? Lets find out!

Worcle Worlds for 3DS is a very addictive puzzle game. Lightwood Games has always done a great job with word puzzle games, but I think this may be their best game yet.

In Worcle Worlds, you must create words to save each world. Depending on what world you’re on, you’ll be creating words small (3 letters) or much bigger (4 or more letters). Worcle gets a lot harder as you go. This game is, without a doubt, one of those games where you’ll say “one more world” and want to keep going. You may get stuck, of course, but eventually you’ll get further in the game. Time Attack opens up for each world after you beat them, if you want to something with a time limit.

And if the single player worlds or time attack isn’t enough for you, you can also play 2-player online or local! Worcle’s two-player is a lot of fun. Some of the matches can really go for a long time if the two players are really good at word games. I had a ton of fun with both the local and online. They both work well.

Speaking of things that work well, Worcle Words has very good controls. You can use the buttons and analog stick for this game or you can use the touch screen. I think the button/analog is a bit more accurate, but the touch screen does work well too.

Worcle is just as good, if not better, then the demo I played of it. I know I will playing this game for a long time to come, especially the multiplayer! And if you are worried about how the game looks, you shouldn’t be. Worcle has very good graphics.

Worcle Worlds is a puzzle game, so visuals are not really the main concern for this type of game. I think that Lightwood Games did a great job on the visuals on this game though. I especially liked the top screen visuals, they really help give each world its own feel. The bottom puzzle area looks pretty nice too. Worcle Worlds is one of the best looking puzzle games on the 3DS eshop.

The music and sound effects in Worcle Worlds is pretty good. The key to any puzzle game music, in my opinion, is something thats catchy and not annoying. Worcle pulls that off. The sound effects work well too.

Worcle Words is an excellent game and I recommend it to all puzzle fans.

Worcle Worlds is one of Lightwood Games best games, if not their best so far. I am enjoying this game so much. If you love puzzle games, Worcle is a can’t miss. Its addictive, fun, and you’ll definitly learn some words that you’ve never heard before.

Thanks to Lightwood Games for providing a review copy of this game. Worcle Words is out right now for the 3DS eshop!
