Konami Announce Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection
Konami have this morning announced the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection, which contains Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Mirror of Fate HD. It also contains an exclusive demo for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, which comes out next February.
You’ll also get access to the Reverie and Resurrection DLC packs for the original game.
The collection will be available for £29.99 on November 8th, and you’ll be able to pick it up on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Both the demo of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 and Mirror of Fate HD are digital tickets included in the box, meaning the only thing you get on disk is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. For those that own the original and can do without the demo, this won’t feel like a great value pack, but it’s a nice start for someone new to the franchise (especially if you can wait a few months and pick it up new for sub-£20).
I just hope there’s room for the second game when that releases next year. It’d be unfortunate to have a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection that didn’t contain the second game. Hell, re-release it in February as well, with all three games. In the mean time, however, this will definitely do.
