Battlefield 4 Online has “A Secret” – Is It Dinosaurs?

During a live stream of Battlefield 4, a developer said that there’s a secret in the game’s multiplayer that, when triggered, will apparently make everybody in the server say “what the fuck?” So far, very few people know about it. Could it be the long-awaited appearance of Dinosaurs, or is this something far more out there?

Nothing else was said about the secret, nor were any clues given towards solving the mystery.

Of course, considering the popularity of a potential dinosaur mode, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn this secret has something to do with that. It would be slightly disappointing that it wasn’t a full-fledged game, but a cameo is a nice start. Other theories include something Star Wars related, which while possible – DICE is working on the next Star Wars Battlefield game – would be a licencing nightmare, and probably not worth it for a single little surprise.

So what could it be? How much will it interfere with the game? How big a surprise is it?

If the secrets in Call of Duty are anything to go by, these questions will all be answered in a matter of days. Even the vaguest things end up being discovered by the most hardcore of fans, and usually quite quickly as well. If it really is everything it’s supposed to be, it may be worth looking out for.
