Syberia 1 to be released on Nintendo Switch in October

I love Adventure games. I’m not much of a PC gamer but I use to play point-and-click games a lot. And I’m always interested in Adventure games on consoles too. A few years ago, I played a game called Syberia on one of Xbox systems I believe. I thought it was a really odd and very cool game. Syberia was an old school Adventure/puzzle game. We don’t see those type of games too often anymore. So it pleases me to report that the first Syberia game will be coming to Nintendo Switch in October.

Syberia is coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 20th.

The game looks a lot like I remember it looking. The graphics in Syberia are not exactly modern but not bad either. The robots and scenery look better than the people in the game. The gameplay should be a perfect fit for Switch. Playing Syberia in handheld mode should be fantastic!

Here is some information about Syberia via a PR e-mail we received:

Paris, September 6th, 2017 –Microïds is proud to announce the standard-setting adventure game- Syberia 1 – on Nintendo Switch on October 20th and unveils a trailer of the game.

Thanks to the modularity of the Nintendo Switch, players will be able to discover or rediscover the beginning of Kate Walker’s adventures; in their living room thanks to TV mode or on the move in handheld mode.

ABOUT SYBERIA 1:

Kate Walker, a young New York lawyer, is dispatched to deal with the sale of a former automaton factory hidden in the French Alps. She never thought that this task, as simple as it seemed, would change her life forever. She quickly embarked on a journey into the confines of Eastern Europe, accompanied by a very peculiar automaton named Oscar. Together they discover incredible places, filled with colorful characters, before meeting Hans Voralberg: the genius inventor, following the trails of the last mammoths found on the mythical island of Syberia, which also happens to be the last piece of the puzzle to conclude the sale and the mission of Kate.

The Nintendo Switch version of Syberia is developed by Koalabs and will be available on the Nintendo eShop on October 20, 2017. The game is rated T for Teen Adolescents/PEGI 7.”

Are you looking forward to Syberia for Nintendo Switch?
