Mario Tennis Coming November

It has been a while since we got a really good Mario Tennis title on a Nintendo platform. The last release on 3DS was lackluster at best; Nintendo has the opportunity to redeem themselves this November with the release of Mario Tennis. I had the chance to play the game at a Nintendo E3 Media event in Toronto, Ontario and I can safely say that we might be getting the next best Mario sports title!

With their announcement today, Nintendo also highlighted a number of features that will be included in the game: play single player or multiplayer in 1v1 or 2v2 matches using your favorite Mario Kingdom characters. A new jump shot move is being introduced this time around, which is a defensive shot more than an offensive one. Nintendo is also introducing a mode called Mega Battles, where players get a Mega Mushroom to get big and have a ‘big’ advantage over your opponents. A number of new characters will also make their debut in this title.
