Aliens DLC Unveiled – Stasis Interrupted

Aliens DLC

There will be some new single player Aliens DLC. Stasis Interrupted will be the final piece of DLC linked to the Colonial Marines season pass and the first piece of single player DLC made available.

The four or five people who have been waiting patiently for some single player Aliens DLC (or any Aliens DLC for that matter) since launch probably won’t be able to buy it, as they’re not allowed access to money lest they spend it on silly things like Aliens: Colonial Marines DLC.

Although not yet officially announced, the trophies for the pack were revealed on PS3Trophies over the weekend.

From PS3Trophies:

Thank You, That Will Be All – Complete Stasis Interrupted at any difficulty
I’m Happy to Disappoint You – Complete Stasis Interrupted in Ultimate Badass
We’re Still Collating – Find all Stasis Interrupted Audio Logs
I Only Need to Know One Thing – Find your family
They Can Bill Me – Destroy the Legato
I Don’t Got All Day – Sever the umbilical without missing a shot
They’re Dead! OK? Can We Go Now? – Kill all the Lurkers in Sulaco engineering
Now What Are We Supposed to Do? – Escape the FTL ship
We Are Leaving! – Survive the Queen escape
It’s the Only Way to Be Sure = Destroy all samples in the labs of the Queen module

Aliens: Colonial Marines is one of the best examples of a game that fails to live up to the hype surrounding it, and also one of those games that has a mystery behind it that’s more fun than the game itself. It still manages to be one of the worst console titles of the year though, and anyone that recommends it to you may not be your friend. The question remains: would they be releasing this Aliens DLC if not for the fact that they’d already sold the season passes?
