Square Enix Announce Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Pre-order Incentive

Square Enix have today announced what you’ll get if you pre-order Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for the PS3. While stocks last, every pre-order will be upgraded to the limited edition, which contains a unique and “extremely rare” Disney pin badge featuring Sora and Mickey Mouse.
It doesn’t seem like an image of the pin has been shared, and there’s no mention of another special edition artbook included in the limited edition. We’ve contacted Square Enix for further details about this and will update if we hear a reply.
Still, as far as pre-order incentives go, there’s no real harm in what being offered. Having the free upgrade to the limited edition won’t hurt anybody, especially if you were interested in getting it during the release window anyway. The upgraded visuals look fantastic, and it’ll be great to have almost all the franchise available in one way or another on a single console. Prices on Kingdom Hearts 3D seem to be creeping up again, but it’s a small price to pay when you’re getting Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth by Sleep on a single disk for such a low, low price.
Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix will be available for purchase later this year.
