Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Is the Fastest Selling Game in the Mario Kart Franchise
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a hit! Nintendo has released early sales figures for the game and has said that it is the fastest selling game in the Mario Kart franchise.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe came out on Friday for the Nintendo Switch. The games has already sold “more than 459,000 combined packaged and digital sales in the U.S. on launch day alone (April 28)” according to Nintendo PR.
This makes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the fastest selling game in the franchise! Previously, Mario Kart Wii sold “433,900” on its first day. Nintendo also added that “more than 2.7 million Nintendo Switch systems have been sold globally.”
Sounds like the Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are doing great. I’m really happy to see that!
