Halo 3 ODST now Available on Xbox One

Many Xbox One users woke up this morning to find a download code given by Microsoft Xbox through a direct Xbox Live message. If you are currently an owner of the Halo Master Chief Collection and played the game while we experienced a slew of issues in the online matchmaking, you are now lucky to receive Halo 3:ODST for free.

The download is roughly 8 GB and is very easy to redeem. Enter your code and start the download.  It is recommended to ensure your Master Chief Collection is fully up to date before attempting to play Halo 3:ODST. If its not up to date you may experience issues playing the game and/or unlocking certain achievements.

With this remastered version we are now able to unlock another 100 achievements worth 1000 achievement points. This brings Halo MCC up to a whopping 600 achievements and 6000 achievement points. Thirty of the 100 achievements are related to the audio logs which were very fun to find in the original Xbox 360 version.

If you weren’t able to receive a free download code for Halo 3: ODST you will still be able to play the game for only $4.99 in Canada and the U.S. and £3.99 which is very reasonable price for a 1080p/60fps remastered version of the game.
