Fan Remakes Legend of Zelda’s Temple of Time in Unreal 4

There was a lot to be excited about when people released video of the original Bioshock and then Deus Ex: Human Revolution in Unreal Engine 4. They’re nothing compared to this new look at what the Temple of Time would look like remade in Epic’s latest though. Make sure there’s something soft to catch your jaw and get ready to petition Nintendo…

The chances of Nitnendo remaking Ocarina of Time in the unreal Engine is about as likely as a new Mario RPG sequel, so it’s no good getting your hopes up. Even if it was possible, it wouldn’t end up on the Wii U. The PS4 and Xbox One would struggle to run an actual playable version of this. Even so, it’s a nice look at how Zelda might look in twenty years time.

From the video’s description, written by its creator Michael Eurek:

Several months ago, it was suggested to me by a friend that a fun/challenging exercise would be to recreate an environment from an old game I like using modern techniques. I thought this was a great idea, so I have put together a recreation and personal adaptation of The Temple of Time from The Legend of Zelda.
