EA Sports Confirms NFL Madden 16 Cover Athlete

EA Sports confirms the NFL Madden 16 cover athlete to be Odell Beckham Jr. on an ESPN SportCenter show this week. The final vote came in between the New York Giants Odell Beckham Jr. and the New England Patriots Rob Gronkowski.

Odell Beckham Jr. becomes the youngest and first New York Giants player in NFL history to grace the cover. He also has done the amazing feat in such a short amount of time as this will be his second NFL season. The rookie made an unbelievable one handed catch last season during a game with the Dallas Cowboys and has a ton of potential this upcoming year. Odell Beckham Jr. also said in an interview with ESPN that he does not believe in the EA Sports Madden Cover Curse. Let’s hope this curse isn’t real so we can see a few more of those one handed touchdowns in the 2015/2016 NFL Season. If we don’t see it on the field we can always catch it on the Madden NFL 16 game due late this Summer.

Madden NFL 16 will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 with new controls, new quarterback mechanics, a new risk and reward catch and pass-defend system, and other new features. Be sure to catch NFL Madden 16 on August 25th.
