Disney Infinity 3.0 Figures and Power Discs Update

When Disney Infinity 3.0 launches officially in the fall we will be exposed to the world of Star Wars in addition to the world of Marvel and Disney. As reported earlier this month Disney Infinity 3.0 will be entirely based on Star Wars with each movie trilogy getting it’s own play set and each Star Wars figure being able to play in each of the play sets. Disney Infinity 3.0 will also release Tron Figures, Mickey, Minnie, Olaf, Mulan, and all of the Inside Out characters under the Disney label. We will also see Iron Man’s Hulk Buster and Ultron released under the Marvel label and of course the meat and potatoes – The Star Wars figures.

Along with the figures getting publicity lately we also have news that the power discs will no longer be sold in blind packs. There was a huge community uproar at how many of the packages were duplicates or triples, etc. Now we will get to see the power discs clearly and sold in a Disney themed set.

There were several photos of each figure released already. Have a look at the detail in Chewy, Luke, Leia and Han Solo along with their classic attire we also get their weapon of choice pictured below.

First images are released of the cast of Disney/Pixar’s Inside Out – Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust and Sadness will all be released this fall including an Inside Out Play Set.

Disney Infinity Power Discs will now be open and visible to the public. No more guessing on what you will buy in the blind pack only to be disappointed its a duplicate. Each pack will be sold in a set of four discs and now cost $9.99.

The Tomorrowland Power Disc Pack was the first pack revealed and it includes the below Power Discs.

• The Retro Ray Gun will give players a blast from the past feel with a crimson and gold retro-futuristic weapon
• Tomorrowland Time Bomb will unleash a powerful shockwave and temporarily freeze your opposition in time
• Tomorrowland Stratosphere allows you to transform the Toy Box with amazing vista from the futuristic world of Tomorrowland (sky dome disc)
• Tomorrowland Futurescape will allow players to experience the utopian city of Tomorrowland (terrain/texture customization disc)

Disney Infinity 3.0 will release in the fall with the starter pack priced at $64.99.
