Ninjabee is Bringing World of Keflings to Wii U

Ninjabee has a knack for making simple yet addicting games, and the Keflings franchise is no different.  In A World of Keflings, you play as a giant who controls a village of little people, tasking them to collect specific resources – wool, wood, stone, precious gems – and use these resources to build houses, workshops, towers, etc.  The game has an easy progression system built into it: you chop lumber which you bring to a sawmill; when the sawmill produces a board, you use the board in the workshop to build a piece of a building you need, and so on.  It may sound confusing, but within twenty minutes of playing, you’ll get it.

In 2010, those that played A Kingdom for Keflings and A World of Keflings on Xbox 360 probably thought it was a title that would lend itself well to iPad.  Although an iPad version may not be realized any time soon, the Wii U is the perfect platform for this gem to make a comeback.

Ninjabee made an official statement about A World of Keflings in a January 31st blog post from the developer’s official page.  They stated that their resource collecting and building game would be available in a few months; it appears as if the game will include all three DLC campaign.

With Nintendo working so hard to get third party development, perhaps we will see Nintendo related content pop up in A World of Keflings from time to time; after all, those that have already played the game on Xbox 360 or on Windows will need a reason to come back for more.
