Microsoft looking to sell Xbox One through Trade in promotion

Microsoft is looking to sell even more Xbox One systems after a very successful holiday season.  Microsoft emailed customers with this offer which is currently available in North America at Microsoft Store locations.  The email said, “Ditch your PS3 and get 100$ store credit towards Xbox One.”  Perhaps this is an attempt to avoid the inevitable post holiday drop in sales.  There is a fair amount of fine print to this promotion, and it is not limited to PS3.  Customers can also trade in an Xbox 360 S or Xbox 360 E.  The promotion comes with a fair amount of fine prin

“To be eligible for trade in, product must power on and be in fully functional, working condition without broken/missing components, cracked display/housing or liquid damage, cannot be password protected, and include original chargers/accessories. To receive maximum trade in value, you must purchase an Xbox One at the same time. Any appraised value will be determined at trade in and provided as store credit, subject to Microsoft’s discretion and approval.”

What worries me here is all the fine print.  I wonder how difficult it will be to get the full 100$ credit, but time will tell.
