Lifespeed New Nintendo 3DS Launch Trailer

There are very few exclusive New Nintendo 3DS games, but soon, we’ll be able to add another one to the list. Lifespeed is a “futuristic flying racer” according to its developer Wee Man Studios and will be playable only on the New 3DS. Please take a look at the trailer below and stick around for more details on the game & my thoughts on it.

Here’s some information about the game (via the developers website):

“One thousand years ago a Great War threatened to engulf the galaxy. The United Government was formed to stop the impending Armageddon. Now there is a new genocide called Lifespeed. Instead of war, disputes about resources and survival are settled on the track. Each rider is forced to compete for their planet’s survival and for the chance to become Archon. You are Cypher Reid.

  • Play in story mode, try to keep your planet safe by staying alive and defeating the dreaded Huntar, the Archons loyal assassin
  • Fly at extreme speeds down 8 different tracks in 4 worlds located across the galaxy
  • Battle against 9 other racers using your flying skills and a variety of weapons
  • Choose between 11 playable characters
  • Compete against Lifespeed racers across the world in online leaderboards
  • With 4 different difficulty levels from Rookie to Chosen One, this game is enjoyable for both casual and hardcore gamers “

Lifespeed looks amazing! The trailer above reminds me of F-Zero with a dash of Race the Sun from Wii U. Its great to see another New 3DS game too. You can tell why the regular 3DS just wouldn’t be able to handle this game. The graphics on Lifespeed are very good and the racing is super fast. It will definitely take the power of the New 3DS to keep up with this game!

Lifespeed will be coming to the 3DS eshop in February.

What do you think of Lifespeed? Let us know in the comments!
