Story Mode Coming to Mario Tennis
It's been a long while since a Mario Sports game had a story mode, and for the Mario Tennis franchise, you'll have to go all the way back to Mario Tennis on the Gameboy Advanced. With the promise of a new story mode, new tennis mechanics, and more, can Mario Tennis return to its former glory on Nintendo Switch? Based on the trailer we got today, we definitely think so!

Samsung Unveils First Thunderbolt 3 QLED Curved Monitor at CES 2018
Samsung has had a number of great news items come out of CES 2018, but one of the most important to myself is the unveiling of the Thunderbolt 3 QLED Curved Monitor. This is the first curved model on the market that will support Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. Although many might assume this is soley for a gaming audience, Samsung has assured interested parties that this is a great monitor for all computer related activities. New Update Coming to Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Odyssey was one of the BEST games of 2017, and received outstanding scores from almost every media outlet on the planet. It wasn't just because 'open world' 3D Mario games had been a thing of the past, but how well Nintendo returned to that gameplay style. The fun hasn't stopped for Super Mario Odyssey, and in today's first Nintendo Direct of 2018, the company announced new updates coming in the near future!

Porting Games from Wii U to Switch Isn’t Lazy, It’s Smart
With another Nintendo Mini Direct in the books, the gloves are off and writers around the world are going to start dissecting what Nintendo is offering fans. The initial impression for some wasn't great: too many Wii U games and older games on other systems being ported to Switch. Based on the low install base of the Wii U, and that many Nintendo fans ONLY own Nintendo consoles, bringing all of these 'older' titles to the Nintendo Switch is actually a really smart idea, and in no way causes assumptions of laziness on the part of Nintendo, and other developers and publishers.

Three Things Assassin’s Creed Origins Doesn’t Need…But Would Be Cool
Assassin's Creed Origins is easily one of the best games released in 2017, and it has even taken my top spot amongst Assassin's Creed titles since the original, topping my previous all-time favorite, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. From start to finish, exploring Ancient Egypt and removing its citizens from the grasp of a tyrannical leader was an amazing experience. With so much to do, there really was never a dull moment. Quests were varied, and the chance at rare and legendary loot made me explore every nook the game had to offer. When we look back at past Assassin's Creed experiences, however, there were some game play elements that were never added to Origins. Top 3 Things We Want in a Pokémon Game on Switch
We all know that a Pokémon game is coming to the Nintendo Switch, hopefully in 2018, but the details of such a game are currently in the dark. Will it be an upgraded version of what has been working on handhelds for 20+ years, or will it be something in the vein of Pokémon Snap? Or, will Nintendo look to do something crazy and different, bringing the franchise in a new direction?
