Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy Review

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is a game heavily inspired by Egyptian lore, from its story to its setting and characters. Mythology is a good source for video games, though it doesn't always result in a good game. Is Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy good, OK, or just plain bad?

A Tales of Two Games: Evoland Legendary Edition Review

I did a preview of Evoland Legendary Edition last week. This week, I want to give you my final opinion on these games. Evoland Legendary Edition, as noted in the preview, is two games: Evoland 1 and 2, collected into one package. My review will look at both games individually and then come to a conclusion about the whole package. Is Evoland Legendary Edition worth downloading from the Nintendo Switch eshop? Evoland 1 While Evoland 1’s story is pretty simple…

More Thoughts From Me #157: Checking Out Dreams

Dreams is a Playstation 4 exclusive game that will let you create your own video game (and other stuff), share it, and play other people’s creations. If you played LittleBigPlanet, you’ll have an idea of what Dreams is but only know the half of it. The LittleBigPlanet series is great. I love it. Dreams is not out yet, but I can already tell you its bigger and better than LittleBigPlanet. How? I got to play the recent Dreams beta on…

I loved the book, really liked the movie, and I bring this all up because The Raven Remastered is heavly inspired by Murder on the Orient Express and Christie in general! Is that good thing? Is this a good game? Here is my review of The Raven Remastered for the Nintendo Switch! The Raven Remastered borrows a lot from…

Cake Laboratory

Cake Laboratory for Nintendo Switch is all about decorating cakes and then stacking them. Of course, one false move and the tower will come falling down. The goal of the game is to see how high you can stack cakes. With each level, the stack of cakes gets…

Carcassonne for Nintendo Switch

I haven’t played many board games in my life. I’ve always been more of a video game fan. That said, board games brought to the video game realm do interest me. I remember my dad playing Carcassonne on the Xbox 360 and thinking that it looked neat. When I heard it was coming out for the Switch, I decided I wanted to review it. Now I’ve played the game and I can give you my opinion of it. Is Carcassonne…

NAIRI: Tower of Shrini is an Adventure game but also an interactive story. The player does not see Nairi walking around, instead the story is told…

Home Sweet Home Review

Home Sweet Home is a first-person indie-horror game inspired by Thai myths and beliefs that was recently released on PS4 and Xbox One from Thai developer Yggdrazil. Yggdrazil is not known for game creation, as it boasts projects in VFX, Animation, Art Design and Online-Editing categories, with very little focus on games. For a company with such a diverse portfolio, it would be an understatement to say I was surprised with the overall quality of Home Sweet Home.
