The Gran Turismo series has been spinning out on the track lately, so Polyphony Digital receded to the shadows to work on the next great racing experience, Gran Turismo Sport. For what this title lacks in content, it more than makes up for in game mechanics, and with a host of racing games available this year on the market, from a new entry in the Forza series to the second iteration of Project Cars, Gran Turismo works hard to stand out from the rest. Paris Game Week kicks off in November, and to get Playstation fans ready for what they are going to see, Sony is hosting a Playstation Life from Paris to show off upcoming titles coming to Playstation 4 and Playstation VR! The show is likely to have small updates and announcements for Sony fans, before heading straight into the media briefing from Sony, which promises new details on unannounced and yet-to-be-released titles.

The Astro Gaming name is synonymous with gaming, and for years everyone has assumed that Astro headsets are outside the reach of the average gamer. In the past, this was definitely true, but Astro is running lines of Headsets at a much lower cost, and the Astro A40 TR Headset - aimed at PC and MAC users, but compatible with newer Xbox One controllers and PS4 - is a great headset that comes in at a modest $150 price tag. Overall, that expensive Astro quality is there, but not the excessive pricing.

I loaded up Middle-Earth: Shadow of War for the first time last night thanks to Warner Bros. The highly anticipated Middle Earth: Shadow of War will release today at retail, and as a digital download for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. We just received our review key from Warner Bros. This is the third consecutive year that GamesReviews is reviewing the yearly Pro Evolution Soccer title, and although we hate to sound like a broken record, the game again is the paramount soccer experience available on console, but is again sorely lacking the features and licences content that is available in FIFA 18. That being said, for those looking for that ultimate experience, PES 2018 is a must own!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a NEW vignette for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, spotlighting members of the Inhuman Royal Family, including Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, Maximus and the lovable canine, Lockjaw, all in LEGO form. Also showcased is their ancestral home, the Inhuman city of Attilan, which is one of 18 different iconic Marvel locations featured in the game, all ripped from time and space to form the expansive Open Hub World of Chronopolis.

Project Cars was a very ambitious title from Bandai Namco a few years ago, and while the aspirations and resources were there, the game fell a bit flat when you compared it to its direct competitors, including the Forza series. Everyone who played Project Cars - myself included - knew there was something there that just needed a bit more work, and thankfully, the developers stuck with it and just recently gave us Project Cars 2. The sequel builds on the original in many ways, making it perhaps the best simulation racing title available on the market.
