Warioware Gold Demo Impressions

Earlier this week, I wrote about Warioware Gold for the 3DS in my column for this site. I said I couldn’t wait to play this game. Well, somebody must have heard me because Nintendo released a demo for the game yesterday. I’ve gotten to play that demo some and now I can give you my impressions of it. Is the Warioware Gold demo fun? Mash it, twist it, touch it, and take turns doing all of them. If this sounds…

Plethora of Post Game Captain Toad Levels

The overall challenge you will face when playing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on Nintendo Switch is pretty minimal. There are a few challenging levels if you are attempting to collect all the gems, complete the secret objective, find Pixel Toad, and beat the time challenge, but overall, the game itself is pretty easy, earning respect and love from players because of the charming visuals and unique gameplay mechanics. But Nintendo added some post game content that will really push you to your limits, and some would say this is where the real game begins!

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Launches on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS Today

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker originally released back in 2014 on the Nintendo Wii U. The game was based on mini games that players could enjoy in Super Mario 3D World, also on Nintendo Wii U. These games were so popular, in fact, that Nintendo decided to create an entire experience for Toad. And people loved it. Unfortunately, people didn't love the Wii U though, so this fantastic game only made it into a fraction of the households who actually owned a Nintendo Switch. The game is now getting a new lease on life with the Nintendo Switch, and we cannot wait ...

More Thoughts From Me #126: Time Traveling Through Radiant Historia

Everyone is so obsessed with the Nintendo Switch these days. Don’t get me wrong: I get it. The Nintendo Switch is an awesome system. I play it a lot myself. That said, if you are not still playing your 3DS too, you are really missing out. The 3DS is still going strong and while not as many games are coming out for it, the ones that have been coming are excellent. One such title is Radiant Historia. It is a…

Dragon Lapis Review

I’ve been enjoying Dragon Lapis for the 3DS a lot. Check out my preview of the game here. And now its time for my review of Dragon Lapis. Is this a 3DS rpg that you’ll want to download? I like how Dragon Lapis starts with a cutscene that gives us background into its world. As the game continues, we get a lot more world building and interesting plot twists. All of the characters in this game are unique and fun…

One of my favorite games from KEMCO is called Dragon Sinker and its for the 3DS. It is a retro-style turn-based rpg for the system. I enjoyed it a lot. So when I heard that KEMCO was doing another retro-style rpg for the 3DS, I got excited. The game is called Dragon Lapis and its out now. I recently received a review code for the game and want to provide you with some impressions of it. Is Dragon Lapis as…

Is this Castlevania? No, its Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon!

You will hear a lot of people comparing Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon to the Castlevania franchise. And they are totally right to make that comparison. Bloodstained looks a lot like the Castlevania games we saw on the NES and SNES. But is it just a copycat or is Curse of the Moon something special? Forget Castlevania. We don’t need it anymore. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon for Nintendo Switch is a game that is so much like old school…
