The Perfect Way to Learn the Craps

Crap is a popular dice game. It was earlier known as crapaud; toad in French, because people used to play the game on the floor, squatted like a toad. The fancy board arrived later, as the game became more popular across the globe.

You may have the luck to win and earn loads by playing craps, but it is mandatory to understand each and everything about this complicated craps board in order to play the game in a competitive and interesting way. One may get confused by the maiden sight of the crap board, but it gets familiar once you learn how to play craps. The player has to use different bets such as the ‘pass’ bet, ‘come’ bet, and ‘One-roll’ bets. It would not be wrong if I say that the pass-line is the most common space for bets. The players can use the pass-line to place bets and win money.

Pass bet is one of the basic and often used bets in craps. These are made on the pass-line, throughout the come-out roll; the first dice-roll. 7 and 11 will make you win, while 2, 3 and 12 will make you lose. You should roll the rest to establish a point. If it is the don’t pass bet, you are betting against the dice-roll. Here, 2 and 3 are wins, 7 and 11 are loses, and 12, a ‘push’.

Come bet is different from the pass bet as it can only be placed when a point is established on the pass-line. 7 and 11 are wins, while 2, 3 and 12 are loses in this bet. Other roles will result in a win if a ‘point’ is rolled before 7. The opposite of the come bet is a don’t-come bet. Bets should be placed against the dice-roll when a point is established.

The field bet is a simple bet which is about the probability for the numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 to roll. The win is yours as one of those numbers turns up.

The place bet allows you to bet on any desired number. You will be a winner if that particular number rolls before 7. You can even be an instant winner if a 7 is rolled before placed numbers.

Another bet in craps is the 6:8 bet, which is most similar to the field bet. This allows you to bet for a 6 or 8 to be rolled. This will lead to more money as you walk away.

The hard-ways bet is a good way for bit of a complicated playing of craps, whereas the one roll bets are resolved by giving the dice a single throw; which are mostly found on the one-roll betting space on the craps board.

Craps is a game with a unique beauty. Learning about the names allocated for the numbers will be useful to be a more traditional player. Do not forget that every dice-roll is a path for money. Know each and every trick and let the winning begin!
