July Lvl Up from Loot Crate Review

I’ve been reviewing both Loot Crate and Loot Gaming for a few months now, and magically in the mail last week, I received another of Loot Crates awesome packages; in this short article we are looking at July’s Lvl Up from Loot Crate!

As always, if you want to order any Loot Crate products, feel free to head to http://www.lootcrate.com/gamesreviews and use the coupon code, GAMESREVIEWS!

Unfortunately, this week we don’t have awesome pictures for you guys, but once my camera is back from the shop I’ll update it with high quality photos for you to check out!

Socks, socks, and …. wait, only 2 pairs

This months package came with two pairs of socks. Perhaps it’s normal to get two pairs, but perhaps not. Either way, I love having wacky socks to wear, especially when I have important business lunches and meetings that require me to wear a suit. A suit is only cool if it’s paired with a great pair of socks.

The Rick and Morty socks feel like every day socks. Nothing special, just the kind you buy in big packs at Walmart or Costco. They feel fine, they wear fine, and they are Rick and Morty. If you like that franchise, these are cool socks.

The Mega Man socks are outstanding, and top the Rick and Morty socks easily in my opinion. The material is much nicer, they feel a lot better on my feet, and they look way cooler. When I wore these with my suit the other day I got a lot of compliments, from gaming and non gaming people. Good item Loot Crate!

Loot-T

This weeks Loot tshirt was mistakenly identified as a basic Transformers tshirt in the video, but I’ve soon been corrected by passionate YouTube fans and told it is in fact from Voltron. Either way, I really liked this tshirt right away. The design is cool to look at, but it’s still fairly simple. I’m a huge fan of simple design tshirts and not ones that are really flashy.

Nothing flashy about this. Just a plain tshirt with a great logo.

Loot Wearable

I’ve never owned a hooded tshirt before, but there is always a first time for everything. This months Lvl Up came with a great Futurama hooded tshirt, and although the design is pretty detailed on closer inspection, I like (again) that it is not super flashy.

The subtle characters and logos from the franchise cover the tshirt in its entirety. The quality of shirt seems better than average, and although I’m not sure a hooded tshirt fits my Canadian climate, it’s been nice to wear around the house.

Loot for Her

This months Loot for Her shirt comes from the wonderful Bioshock franchise. When I opened up the shirt, I was pretty jealous because I think it has a really great design. Unfortunately, I’m not sure my larger build will accommodate that tiny tank top. Too bad.

My wife enjoys the tank top, and although her – like myself if you saw the video – was unsure of the franchise, it didn’t really matter. This is something I’m really starting to like about Loot Crate and the boxes they put out. Even if I’m not a huge fan of the franchise, or even if I’m not even sure what franchise they come from, they also ship items that look cool.

Conclusion

This was my first Lvl Up and I’m not sure if I’ll be getting another one. If I am, I’ll be sure to post another review next month and have more of an idea of what I should expect. Today, I’d simply be comparing this Lvl Up to itself as it’s the first I have received.

I will say this, however: even if I don’t get one next month, once I’m moved into my new place and settled down, this could be something I subscribe to in the future. For what I would pay, I like what comes included.
