Curve Digital announced a new game called the Little Acre today. The game is being developed by Pewter Games with Charles Cecil as the executive producer.

I admit I had no idea who Charles Cecil is. I looked here and found out! Charles Cecil was the creator of the Broken Sword adventure games. The Little Acre is being billed as an adventure game too.

Here is how the game is described (via the link above):

” The Little Acre merges the charmful animation of Don Bluth (All Dogs go to Heaven) with the magical wonder of a Myazaki world, set in 1950s Ireland and tells the story of Aidan and his young daughter, Lily. When Aidan’s father suddenly disappears, the pair find themselves transported to a strange new world populated by bizarre creatures.”

Take a look at this first footage of the game:

Doesn’t that look amazing?! It looks more like an animated feature than a video game! I was just wowed by this game’s graphics. The adventure gameplay looks fun too. The Little Acre is being planned for PC, PS4, and Xbox One! I’m not a gamer on any of these systems. I have to admit I was disappointed that the game isn’t coming to the Wii U. An adventure game like this would be amazing on Wii U. Oh well. I’m sure fans of those systems & PC will love this game. It looks really great!

What do you think of The Little Acre? Let us know in the comments!
