Pokémon Let’s Go Eeevee

Starter Pokémon – Eevee

Exclusive Pokémon – Bellsprout, Vulpix and Meowth

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu

Starter Pokémon – Pikachu

Exclusive Pokémon – Oddish, Sandshrew and Growlithe

In both experiences, the starter Pokémon will not evolve past their original form, and neither enjoys living inside a Pokeball either, so they will follow you around for your entire journey. You will be able to do extra things with these Pokémon, however, including dressing them up in a variety of outfits. Based on all the version of Pikachu we have seen over the years, I’m guessing the options will be pretty endless for fans of dress up!

Here is a bit more from the press release,

As players travel throughout the Kanto region, they will meet some familiar faces as well as a few new ones. Professor Oak returns, alongside a new Rival, to present the Pokédex—a high-tech encyclopedia that records data on any new species of Pokémon that players catch in the games. Players will be able to battle Gym leaders across Kanto, including fan favorites Brock, the Gym Leader of Pewter City, and Misty, the Gym Leader of Cerulean City, as they strive to become the Pokémon League champion. In-game Pokémon Trainers aren’t the only ones who can be battled. Players will be able to connect with other players online* or via local wireless communication between Nintendo Switch systems to enjoy intense Pokémon battles. They will also be able to trade Pokémon with each other using these communication features to help complete their Pokédex.

Players will also be able to jump into this experience with a friend, for the first time ever in a mainstream Pokémon RPG experience! I cannot wait to play this game and relive my childhood alongside by boys when the game launches this November on Nintendo Switch!
