Rockstar Games Launches New Trailer for Read Dead Redemption 2

Today, Rockstar Games launched Trailer #3 for Red Dead Redemption 2, the much anticipated sequel to the 360 and PS3 hit, Red Dead Redemption. On the heals of Rockstar enhancing the original game for the Xbox One X, the company plans to hype fans up even more with a new trailer. Although the game doesn’t launch until October 2018 – after being delayed from its original Spring launch day – Rockstar is doing everything possible to get people excited. And based on the companies track record, this will be a fantastic experience!

It has actually be a whale since Rockstar launched a full release – GTA 5 back in 2013 – so a new release from this company is anticipated by all! Based on what we’ve seen in previous trailers for Red Dead Redemption 2, the game is going to strive for an immersive story experience, something that is often lacking in open world, RPG style games! The first trailer for the game was definitely a mood trailer, setting up the environment the new story would evolve within. Launched over a year ago – in March 2017 – it was a while before the next trailer would be shown.

The second trailer – launched in Spetember 2017 – introduced us to “Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.” You can view that trailer below:

Here is the blurb from Rockstar regarding the latest trailer:

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Thosewho will not surrender or succumb are killed.

After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available October 26, 2018 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4!
