Rocket League Hoops!

If you’ve played Rocket League you know how much fun, and how popular, it is. It’s a really simple concept, but the execution is fantastic. Whether you are playing online, coop on the couch, or all alone, it is so easy to lose yourself in multiple matches. Psyonix is taking things a bit further later this month with the launch of a basketball version of Rocket League, and we cannot wait for it!

A basketball component will be much harder to master. Simply pushing the ball along the ground just won’t work. It will be interesting to see how the ball physics might differ when on the court with hoops. From Psyonix,

Following the positive community reaction to the “Snow Day” Hockey Mode released late last year, Psyonix’s new Hoops mode adds a dynamic basketball twist to the wildly-successful soccer-meets-driving concept. In addition to the mode itself, Rocket League Hoops will also come with a FREE new arena called “Dunk House,” where the net itself can be used as a ramp for the ball, and Aerials and wall-play is the key to victory. The new Hoops mode update is FREE on Xbox One, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC via Steam and includes a NBA logo flag for all players.
