New Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Trailer

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for the Wii U is a crossover title between the Fire Emblem and the Shin Megami Tensei series. The game will be coming out in June. Nintendo recently released a new trailer for the game. Here are my thoughts on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE!

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for Wii U is a very strange looking game. I’ve never played the Shin Megami Tensei series before, but I have played several of the Fire Emblem series games. To me, Tokyo Mirage Sessions doesn’t look to have any Fire Emblem elements to it. Even the Fire Emblem characters don’t look the same as they do in their respective games. Instead, the game has taken a different kind of Anime look. I have to admit that I’m not a fan of Anime and so the graphics for this game don’t look too good to me. Thats not say they look bad; I suppose its more the visual style that I’m not interested in. I also find it very disappointing that the Fire Emblem characters were so radically changed. If its a crossover game, shouldn’t the Fire Emblem characters at least look like themselves? I’m not a fan of the game’s music so far either. Japanese pop doesn’t appeal to me.

That said, the game’s battle system does look very interesting. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE could be a lot better game than I think it is. I would be open to reviewing the game and giving it a solid chance. At the very least, I’d like to play a demo of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE! This could be the type of game that you have to play to actually believe in. I’m not going to just write this title completely off before I’ve played it.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will be released in June for Wii U.
